The express goal of Greenly & Company being the appreciation of natural stones, we would be remiss to ignore the rich history of figurative carving as it relates to natural stones. One of the oldest forms of human artwork, the enhancement of geologically-made features to complete a visual picture is found in the convex bodies of bison carved into cave walls and the addition of feet, tails, and eyes onto particularly animistic stones.
